Today mobile Internet has become very popular among mobile users and lots of people are attracting towards it. Everything you do in PC, you can do that in mobile also like web surfing, etc.
But a lot of problems which I was facing from recent times is unable to play Youtube videos. When I approach Internet for the solution of this problem I did not find any solution to this problem.
The reason which I found for not playing Youtube videos on the Internet
- Some says that mobile player cannot play .flv videos which are the format of Youtube videos.
- Some says that there needs to flash player installed into it, etc.
Although this reason is correct that presence of flash player can play Youtube videos but if you mobile does not support flash player videos you can still lay Youtube videos, let me tell you how.
All problem is of settings which service provider sent to you, if the settings does not contain streaming as an option then videos will not be played.
I am having Nokia 5310 XpressMusic with me. These are the changes I did in my mobile to play Youtube videos.
First call for the Internet settings from your service provider and save it. After saving setting go to
Setting-> Configuration setting-> Preferred access point and watch the details of your service provider and note down the value of Packet Data Access Point, you will need it later on.
Go to
Menu->Settings->Configuration->Personal Configuration Setting->Option->Add New->Access Point
Change the name of Account name to your service provider eg. if your service provider is Vodafone then enter Vodafone to your Account Name.
Then enter Access Point Settings
Keep Data Bearer as
Packet Data
Open Bearer Settings and set the value of
Packet Data access point as the one which you note down from your service provider settings.
Now only one step is remaining.
Change your Preferred Data access point as the one you have just created.
That's it.
Now open your browser and play your favorite videos.
If you are finding any difficulty in aforesaid procedure, then do not hesitate to post a comment.
